HoneyCal

Online Card Payments

When you create an event in HoneyCal you can paste in a payment link.

Payment systems like Stripe and PayPal allow you to create payment links which set a price and process a payment.

When someone is booking that event, they are sent to the payment link's page to make a payment.

As with other payment types such as cash or bank transfers, you will need to check for online payments and match them to the bookings via email address or name.*

Other Payment methods

You may be paid in cash or in a lump for several classes or sessions.

HoneyCal lets you add payment records to each booking record.  You can indicate how a booking was paid for, how much was paid, when this added and an optional short note.

Payments cancel out booking charges so you can see who owes money on events.  You can even send emails to anyone with outstanding amounts with a single click.

*Automating reconcilliation

Coming soon:  Stripe offers "webhooks" which can be used to notify apps like HoneyCal when a payment has been made.  You have to set this up on Stripe and then paste another link into HoneyCal.  But this will enable Stripe payments to be matched to the booking they were made from.
