Only people hosting the events ever need to pay for HoneyCal, all your guests (the people who book your events) can use it for free online or installed as an app.
Limits on Free Use
The main limits on free use and the different plans are the volume of followers, bookings and emails that you can have per calendar or per month.
On the HoneyCal Free plan you can only host Free events, so cannot display a price or track payments on your events without a paid plan.
Your guests have to follow your calendar interact with it or book onto its events/sessions.
Following a calendar is like joining a mailing list.
A booking is when a guest is added to an event or session.
The number of bookings made is a good indicator of how useful you are finding HoneyCal.
One to one messages are always unlimited. However, mailings going to all or some followers on a calendar with news or from a particular event are limited by plan level.
We have costs when people use HoneyCal. Cloud services which allow the app to store and share information cost us money whenever they are used and when emails are sent.
Paid plan prices have to cover these costs for free plans too, and we try to keep the balance right. We do not show advertising.
