Different Roles

Each time slot you create in a timetable can have a role set.  This role indicates what the person is to do.  It also limits the selection to contacts marked with the role.  This speeds data entry, avoids mistakes and helps smart shift swapping.

Multiple Locations

Each timetable can have multiple locations, such as studios in a gym, or kitchen/serving at a restaurant.  This helps to organise shifts visually.   It is also more efficient when assigning shifts from the same pool of people.  You could also create separate timetables if desired.

Shift Swapping (if you allow it)

You can allow staff to swap shifts.  You or staff can offer a shift to any other staff marked with the appropriate role. Messages are sent in the app and via email.  Recipients can accept the shift and the calendar updates for you and everyone to see the change.

Always Up-to-Date Schedule

Unlike a printed rota or one in a spreadsheet, HoneyCal displays the up-to-date timetable on its calendar as soon as a change is made so everyone can see what is supposed to happen.   You can also view the timetable in your diary/calendar app reliant on it synchonising.
